Ein Lokal entsteht -- A New Venue

Seit zwei Monaten hat der Verein Tariq l'Mahabba im Norden Marokkos ein eigenes Lokal. Dort sollten Frauen Hoffnung und Freude finden. Verschiedene Kurse sind in Planung wie z.B. ein Nähkurs.

Während des Fastenmonats Ramadan startete der Backkurs, was ein voller Erfolg ist. Die teilnehmenden Frauen kommen alle aus einem benachbarten Quartier, das sehr arm ist. Viele der Frauen gehen fast nie aus dem Haus und haben wenig Hoffnung, dass sich etwas in ihrer Situation ändern kann. Durch den Backkurs können sie ihr eigenes Wissen an andere Frauen weitergeben, ihre Gaben entdecken, aber auch konstruktiv zu ihrer Situation beitragen.

Die Frauen sollen nun auch lernen, ihre Backwaren selber zu verkaufen und neue Abnehmer finden.

Just very recently the association Tariq l'Mahabba has started to welcome women in their newly rented appartment in a small town in Northern Morocco. A place for the ladies to find joy, and new hope. A place where they can learn new skills, as different courses are being planned.

During the month of fasting, Ramadan, a baking course took place. It was a success! The participants all came from a nearby, rather poor neighborhood. A lot of the women rarely leave their houses and they do not have much hope that anything about their life's scenario is ever going to change. With the baking course the women can pass on their knowledge to the others, they can discover a new skill and add new flavor to their lives. The next step is for the participants to also learn to sell their baked goods and to build up a clientele.
